We are made in the image of God. He created us to gaze upon His goodness, understand His mercy, and receive His gift of grace. The Christian life is not meant to be one of static religiosity, but a life of adventure. A life fully sold out to knowing Christ, an invigorating and abundant life.
The thing I love about my Savior is that I will never understand Him completely (at least on this earth). He is full of greater depths than I could ever imagine. He is compiled of love, truth, goodness, mercy, wisdom, and holiness…at all times. His love alone is beyond comprehension.
Constants of nature compel us to view His power and the majesty of the Almighty. This causes us to wonder and results in worship. Our hearts cannot help but leap for joy, for it is here we find rest and purpose.
Here’s to seeking His face ever-more. Here’s to worshipping Him in every season, including the mundane moments of daily life. Here’s to not just making it through days of hardship, but thriving as we grow ever closer to Him.
“The devil does not want you to wonder. Wonder is deadly to the domain of darkness because of its dangerous tendency to lead to worship.” John Bloom
“How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep! The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this” Psalm 92:5–6.
